So I am looking for a 2002 or 2003 (Japanese made) Max and was reading the recall notes posted here as part of a sticky. I noticed amongst other things the drivers seat recall (stops moving). Yesterday I found a 2003, quite rare here, so went a long way to take a look. The car was a total shed, but I got in the drivers seat anyway, reached down, pressed the switch and the motor groaned and the seat just moved sort-of sideways a little! Recall not done, I suppose none of the others were either, so goodbye, fool.

Never was a seat recall...only a TSB

In almost 12 years of ownership I have never had a problem with my power seats.
