sourcing a new engine

Looking for a 3.5 engine/6MT TRANNY for a swap into my 01 AE. car's been parked in the driveway for 18 months. Looking for a price and if there are any available in the greater Toronto area?

Any advantage to that? In the case of the FWD VQ35?

JDM engines have a maximum of 60000 km on them. It's the emissions law in japan. Replace engine at 60k or pay a heavy fine.

There is a 6 speed that has hlsd which is better than the vlsd by far. Not all 6speeds have this, you'd have to do some research

Yeah I know about the helical on the 6 speeds. From what I've heard they are hard to come by. I've got 165k on my 3.0 just thinking about the future.

'04-06 Sentra SpecV and just swap to a Maxima bell housing. All specV's have hlsd.

Your welcome.
