IVAC / stepper motor question

2001AE MT P505 and confirmed fried ECU Sta509 chip

I likely need an IACV.,,,,,,,

Q: Do I have to buy the black stepper motor AND the part it mounts to. junkyard I can get them seperate, Nissan I cant!
I was thinking if I did the coolant bypass then maybe I only need the black stepper motor part, thinking it shouldn't have an issue/leak/cause a short if there's no coolant in it- correct?! (its cold in Canada... maybe bypass is a bad idea?)

Junkyard considers the throttle part stepper that the motor mounts to, as part of the throttle body so they wont sell it to me without buying the whole throttle body

Q2: Can I get away with aftermarket IVAC stepper motor?
