im in the middle of adding the directed keyless entry system as my car didnt come with one.

got everything but lock/unlock. it says in the DDM.

i pulled the door apart, found and tested the wires... now how the efff do you run wires through?!?!?!? isnt there a tap at the ECU somewhere?

i saw pictures the other day someone took of all the install wire locations on a 5th gen but now searching i cant find anything.

if you can find those pictures that would be awesome! or tell me how to run these darn wires through to the door!

I used this. http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/viper791xv/ Step 27b for you. Make sure you get the pulses set right from the alarm. I think unlock takes 2 pulses?

edit: Or wait for someone to tell you if you can tap the SECU under the dash. It may be an option.

i got the lock working properly, unlock needs programmed for double pulse.

now for some reason trunk release isnt working, and neither is the horn honk... ughh this is such a headache!!!!

 

got it all working now.

was trying to beat the sun going down and i won lol

for some reason the horn only honks if you double press it. its weird, but ill call directed for that tomorrow. as of now, everything works!
