P0430 People Who have Replaced Cat

Looking at other threads, I'm taking a guess it's more than likely that I need to replace the front cat. I was told by a friend who will do the work that I will probably also need to get the front exhaust manifold and bolts cause they tend to break off. Did anyone have problems removing the bolts to the manifold or the ones on the cat? Thanks for any replies.

Depends on where you live. Cold climate with road salting in winter, yeah - you're going to have bolt issues, specifically lower down at the cats. Manifold nuts and studs? Again, just depends if your car is rusty.

I would be prepared to do some drilling.
