Need Exhaust (Y-Pipe) Advice

Does anyone have experience with BOSAL P/N 800069 or WALKER 54521 to replace the stock y-pipe on 2002 or 2003 Maxima? If so, does either one of these have an 02 sensor port similar to the OEM ones?

I have an 02 with a shot y-pipe (flex pipe is leaking) and considering to replace it with a Bosal or Walker. OEM pipe is too expensive as i'd prefer to be as economical as possible.

THanks in advance.

You could consider the Warpspeed y-pipe, many people here on the org have them.

thanks I am considering that too. it's $225 as opposed to about $150 for the BOSAL.

Ok an old post I know but relevant to my current situation. I have a bad flex pipe in my ypipe. Need to replace. Anyone have experience with Walker or Bosal? I would look at Warpspeed but they are up to $275 now and I live in Canada so add another hundred to that. Anyone know if Walker/Bosal holds up long term?

Also thinking of just having a new flex welded in but haven't got a price for that yet.

I bought one at rockauto, but I sold it. Instead I was able to get a cattman Y pipe. Bosal is an OEM aftermarket , made of metal pipe not stainless, the flexible part is not a good quality (my opinion) My suggestion is to buy the warpspeed y pipe , the engine exhaust will flow better , give additional horsepower compare to Bosal.

I would either just get the flex pipe swapped or go with warpspeed.

are we talking about the 3.5 engine or the 3.0 because i only see aluminized steel for the 3.5. no option for stainless

Stage II
This one is a bit more complex. It bolts onto an additional frame mount behind the control arms to provide more strength and reduce chassis flex even more. You don't lose any more ground clearance, but you do gain several more steps up the ladder in the handling department.
For 3rd gens, this requires a small amount of grinding on the left side gusset to fit, but does not alter or weaken the structure of the car at all--you simply have to enlarge one hole by about 2mm for one of the mounting points to fit properly. For 4th and 5th gens, this is a simple 15 minute install (assuming you have air tools and a jack).
Current fittments WILL Clear all aftermarket Y-pipes (Warpspeed Performance, Cattman, Stillen), but will NOT clear the Cattman headers on the 4th gen. I'm working with a customer in redesigning the 4th gen bar so that it will fit. If you have these headers or plan to purchase them, stay tuned and I'll have a design that fits.
straight from blehmco, whats going on currently at a shop and shop is telling my the ws-y-pipe is hitting the LTB Stage II, is this shop just not experienced???

or is every car different
