5th Gen Non-Bose Base Head Unit AUX Input Mod...?
5th Gen Non-Bose Base Head Unit AUX Input Mod...?
I know there are a few guides to adding your own aux input to the Bose head units, but has anyone here performed this modification to the non-Bose base head unit?
There are people on eBay who sell the retrofitted stereo and there's even a guy who will do the work on sent-in stereos.
I would think it's just a soldering job similar to the Bose mod.
Anyone? Thanks in advance.

Pa15-nis
Found the PA15-NIS as being compatible with single CD 2002 Maxima's according to the USASpec website.
For ~$100 will integrate an iPod and also gives RCA inputs too. Seems to be the simplest thing I've found so far that maintains a factory look and doesn't use FM modulation/antennae tapping. Sound quality is likely superior too being hard wired in.
