Gauge Cluster Bulbs/ Bases

Hey guys! A while back there was some confusion on the Maxima Gauge Cluster base style. Apparently a few of them were different on just a couple production dates?

I need to get my hands on as many OEM twist in bases as possible so I'm trying to find out what ones I can use, I just want the most common one. Anyone with any real insight on it?

If you happen to have any please let me know as well

-Matt

I've ordered many many overseas and all. And to be honest, I got fed up and bought a cheap cluster, and those worked fine for me.

It was from an 02 GXE, mine is an 03 SE.

^ Thanks dude. I remember you posting about that in SeedyRom's thread too. I'm really hoping to grab OEM ones.

I just ordered a bunch of these and I'm hoping they are not junk.

You got your black ones, you got your brown ones... The black ones are for illumination, the brown are for the signals and highbeam icon

RAY! You are tha man. I lost your number when my phone crashed though so text me if you have mine still. I'll send you a PM now.

CJ is also going to send me a few. Thanks so much gentlemen! it seems (unconfirmed) that most of the new-ish GM, Ford's use a similar/same base. seems to be fairly common. Again, unconfirmed. If it wasn't so cold here I'd do some junkyard hunting to verify.

At least I don't feel like the only one that has been overly frustrated with bulbs/bulb bases. Curious what you might be up to.

EDIT better pics.

Plug and play bulbs without touching the factory tint or taking anything apart:

Looking nice. At first I wanted to do the same for mine and was looking for those wedge bases, but I was looking at 3 weeks to get them from China and then had to struggle to fit a resistor and LED in there. I saw it as too much work and just soldered the LEDs into the cluster.
I like the last picture, I assume that is white LEDs in there and blur color comes through from the tint on the gauges?

The tint on the G35 gauges is actually a yellowish color. The LED's used in those pictures are red and blue, respectively
