Help from suspension experts

What's up org I have discovered I suspension problem I have recently I believe this had been happening for months when I change my struts but wasn't evident until a recent snow storm.btw I'm on maxspeed a and kybs ,driving in snow I realized anytime I hit a bump the back rarely rebounded this causing the rear and to sway ,anyway upon recent inspection I discovered my rear shocks were both stuck in on position I used oem dust boots so I suspect the bumpstops are preventing the shock form function or did they just seize ? I don't like the idea of removing whole shock to cut bumpstops can I completely rip out the rear dust boot without removing shocks ?

Wait, the rear wheels hit a bump and the move up, but don't go down? Have you tried making the rear move up and down while the car is stationary? Does it do the same thing? Also, have you jacked the car up, remove the rear wheels and inspect the inner strut rod for any signs of scraping or whether the strut is bent?

Also did you do the maxspeed spring install yourself? Did you make sure you had the spring seated properly in the spring perch on the strut and top spring mount? This could cause problems as the spring might be working in an unusual angle and puts stress on the strut too.

Those are my thoughts.

I had the install done by a friend who is a mechanic .upon inspection the rod looks to be stuck in the extended position and from the looks of it the spring looks to be seated correctly , I had the same problem on the front but those were aftermarket bumpstops so I was able to cut them with the shocks mounted as far as pushing the car down while stationary there is minimal rebound/compression or at least less than the front
