...How to remove gear shift (chrome handle)

I'm able to get me hands on a gear shift (chrome handle) from a 2001 AE.....I've never done this before but from a scale from 1- 10 , how hard is to remove and what is needed

another thing:
I wanna replace the brake light in the spoiler (blown out) can someone point in the direction to get another one

Thanks
Kevin

I can't picture the chrome AE gear shift

For the spoiler, since it's an LED bar, just find another one from a junkyard, remove the spoiler and replace the brake light. I needed new plastic clips when I did it on my 97.

sadly, that's true. I haven't really seen those LEDs blown though. I changed mine because the outer casing was cracked and the electrical mumbo jumbo was corroded.
If I may ask, is the whole thing out, or just a few bulbs?
