03' maxima se headlight issues

Has anyone replaced their low beam headlights(4300k). And had issues with the lights coming on. After I replaced both bulbs I have to turn the light switch off, then back to auto position 10-15 times for them to stay on. Let me know if you have had this issue. And how do u fix it?

Was it fine with the regular bulbs? Can you put the OEM bulbs back in and test?

I hit a giant pothole and it blew one of the headlights so I replaced both to keep the same color.
