I only notice this when the car is cold lately. I let the car warm up the 30 seconds required by the manual and then head off to work. I have a fairly steep grade to climb for about 40 yards and it seems to stutter/shake/hesitate when going up the grade, but cannot feel it on the level grades unless really mashing the throttle (which I really dont do when the car is cold, once or twice to test the theory).

I run Mobil1 Tri-Syn with a mobil 1 filter
I run NOTHING but mobil1 92 oct gas.
Car has 11,400 miles on it.
I am the only driver of the car.

What gives? Seems like something is either not firing or slipping and I can't tell which.

Ideas....?

 

have the same problem happen... I think it has been discuss before and some of us agree it has something to do with the fuel injuctor been cold so it won't flow perfectly... I have it happen only in the first gear and when it's really cold outside...

 

My car does the same thing. I cleaned the TB about a week ago and the problem is still there. I had the Fuel Cut TSB done and I spoke with the mechanic and he said that he "tuned" the car to run better in the cold. Should I take my car back to the dealer?
