While the 4th gen knock sensor has a 2 wire connector, the wire harness going to it only has one wire. If you were to use an ohmmeter on the 2 contact pins, you would find that one of the pins is connected to the center metal collar that the bolt goes through. This pin does not have a wire in the harness.

Why is there such a price difference on knock sensors, from $11 to $240? These are for 3.5 Maxima's.

Knock Sensor and Harness

If there's anyone out there that could help me find a knock sensor and the correct wiring harness. I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima. I need the knock sensor wiring harness that has the two connectors. Please help! I looked on Amazon and Ebay and those aren't compatible with the maximas froom 2000-2003. Please help me out! Thank you
