I recently bought an 01 Nissan maxima se 20th anniversary edition. it has the famous IAC problem. I have already replaced the iac twice and have had the ECM rebuilt as well. I put the new iac and ecm in and I can hear the iac turn on, but the engine wont start. everything in the car turns on normal and everything but it wont start. Anybody have any suggestions on what my next move should be??

 

Is the red security led in the clock on while you try to start the car? Have you plugged in an OBD reader and checked for codes?

 

I'm not sure about the red light. The only code it pulls is a map sensor circuit fault. had the sensor checked and came back good.
