Hey guys I'm new here, I have a problem with my max. It ran fine then I was leaving school and it died out of no where I checked the codes and it was saying both camshaft sensors and crank sensor! Replaced the two camshaft sensors and the crankshaft sensor and still nothing ran all kinds of tests I'm stumped could this be an ecu problem or something else! Help!!!

 

I advised you to use Nissan OEM sensors. Hook your car to OBD reader and check for codes.

2002 Maxima have two camshaft position sensor
Both on the driver side with round rubber gasket
Camshaft Position Sensor bank 2 (near the radiator with angled connector)
Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 1 (near the firewall with straight connector)

Crankshaft Position Sensor (straight connector with no round rubber gasket

Check the battery, starter. fuel pump
