Variable valve timing solenoid

I bought a dorman variable valve solenoid online made by dorman part number 917-011. The manifold bolts don't match up. There actually backwards. I looked online and it says everywhere that this part should bolt right up with no problems. Is there more then one of these solenoids? Am I being retarted? Any diagrams showing the location would be appreciated. Also tips and tricks on how to clean my old manifold because I've heard that the screens in the manifold may just be clogged.

There are 2 of them, one for the left bank and one for the right bank. They are not identical. They look prteey much the same but they have different part numbers.

left bank Nissan part # 23796-2Y520
right bank Nissan part # 23796-8J100

The photos of the Dorman look the same as the Nissan ones to me. Maybe you got a mis-marked part.
