01 GLE non-climate control
wife says for two days now she only gets heat (or anything at all) when fan is set to high(4). i know i've had this issue in one of my other vehicles (blown resistor issue). anyone have any thoughts or experienced this before?

figured i'd throw it out there and will look into it when i get some time and daylight.

search didnt turn up anything related...surprisingly.

 

same thing...blower motor resistor (if manual climate control) or FAN CONTROL AMPLIFIER (if auto climate control)

Definitely blower motor resistor, not hard to replace.

 

nah, looks straight forward and the part is cheap. have to replace my t-stat in my truck this weekend but will probably bang this out next weekend.
