I have the infamous p1456 and have had 2 smoke test performed to no avail.during both test smoke only came out of (release port) not sure what it is call but it is behind the canister.i was told the valve should open and close and shouldn't allow a steady stream of smoke to come out of that port (leading to a faulty vcv), not sure how true that is .but if that Is the case how to I open and close the valve to check proper operation without removing it from the canister and snapping the bolts btw new gas cap
