New PCV valve and engine sputter

New PCV valve and engine sputter
I replaced my pcv valve and now I have rough idle and engine sputter at times (studder or sputter?). I'm still getting good gas mileage but it's just not running right. I'm at 225k and trying to stay ahead of the maintenance curve. The valve was bad though, so it had to go. Should I reset the ecu or anything like that? Thanks in advance for the help.
Some recent maintenance history:
Valve covers
New plugs
PCV replacement along with some very brittle hoses.

If it was me, I would disconnect battery for 3+ hrs and let the ECU re-learn.
If that didn't work, I would go through "Basic Service Procedure" (FSM, EC-68) .....
but I have never had to do it on my cart. Lucky me.

Yes, I'll weight all those options and get back with some results. Seeing as how I have a lot of brittle hoses, anyone of them could be leaking from being taken off and mucked with.
I hope it's just a faulty valve, I did go OEM but you never know. I got it from my local Nissan place since I didn't want to wait for it to be delivered from good old reliable courtesynissan.com. I'll just order from them as usual next time... Thanks for the responses.
