TCS, ABS and SLIP lights illuminated

I assume due to the failure of one of the sensors at one of the wheels. My question is how I can determine which of the four sensors has failed (OBD II scanner doesn't detect this). I would prefer not to have to take it to a dealer for this so any "grassroots" way of doing it would be awesome. Thanks! (Oh, if it's not one of those sensors by the wheel, what else could it be?)

This is hard to fix man... Take it to a mechanic with a special obd scanner that can read the ABS and you can try replacing the sensor but it could come back...

Why do you think it might be this? Does a low battery just cause all kinds of weird problems or is this a known issue with low battery/dying alternator?

Yes to both of your questions ... a bad battery or a dieing alternator will cause your dash display to light up like a christmas tree ... in most cases the lights you have mentioned come on when there is a charging system issue.

There is a self diagnostic you can run on the abs. Nissan stopped documenting it after 2001, but it is still built into the abs system and you can run it. Get the 2001 FSM, BR (brakes) section and follow the directions on page 48. Once you get the code, see page 61 for what it means.

Check the traction control rings on the axles and clean off the sensors. I had one move back away from the hub resulting the traction control and abs not knowing what to do and resulted in the three lights you described. Sometimes the sensors can get caked with brake dust and it could cause this problem as well.

first! find someone with a good OBDII scanner that can see ABS code... this will very help you....

and dont check for your axle ....you lost your time... sorry guys but wheel ABS sensor works like a magnet... any dirt or something will not make any difference....

im sure theres a wheel sensor dead or something wrong with the abs system but not the cv joints teeth (abs ring)

PS: @rbaksi .... this is not traction control ring .... its ABS ring ... traction control works only when ABS is working well... ABS system read on the wheel to see if there any speed difference between the front and rear ...and cut the fuel if there any sllip ...
