Speedometer stop working den work again
what's up guys I have a 2000 Nissan maxima...Just the other day my speedometer stop working and my mileage froze but all the other gauges were fine and also no check engine light showed and car drove fine... den I shut off the car for a good 30mins...speedometer and mileage started working again...and reminder jersey been very cold diz winter like 20's and lower and yesterday temps got up into the 60's...
Does anyone have a clue what could be going on or could it be the start of my speedometer going bad?

diz iz weird u shuld consult the FSM den chk it out

mine did the same but all the gagues died also, same year car, the eeprom on the cluster died, got new cluster, happened again, cant find cause. maybe a funky output from the alt once in awhile is my only guess.
