5 Speed stick vs automatic
5 Speed stick vs automatic
I just bought a brand new 2002 Maxima SE. I was going to get stick but I live in the city and its torture sometimes to drive from place to place shifting here and there. Is it worthless to try to tweak the engine because I have a automatic. I was thinking about putting a supercharger or something to that effect

welcome to the .org, i bought the auto for the same reason, what city are you in? what color did you get? no S/C is available for the 2k2s but we'll always have hope--worthless to put mods on, no definitly not worthless, you would get much better gains with the 6 sp. though, do a search for "Don" and look at posts regarding Don's VB mod, i don't know if anyone has done it on the 2k2 yet but i know several people are planning on doing it soon (me included)
<----check homepage for pics of mine, you should start a homepage and let us get a glimpse of your max
again, welcome to the .org

Obviously, if you spared no expense to get a system to watch it while on the road
So, found those new rims yet? I'm probably selling mine off in a couple of months. Darn, too many mods to do, so little time and finances.

Welcome, I have an auto and I mod it. Here is a pic of what an auto can do

And just in case someone did not say it, I will... It's not possible to physically shift a manual as fast as an AUTO tranny.
