Hey everyone, I am new here but i come on here to look for answers all the time. I have a 2003 Maxima and i live in maine and im moving to north carolina and i have 132,249 on my car do you guys think it will make it? I just had to replace my alternator and battery about a week and a half ago. Im just nervous that it will break down. I need some reassurance.

Any check engine lights on?
If so, look into them before a long trip.
If not, check our oil and tire pressure and have a safe trip!

There's no lights on, i do know i need to get a tire rotation before i go. this is my first car so i am pretty protective of it. Im going to get an oil change done tomorrow. but i just wanted to make sure that the mileage wasn't to high, my biggest fear is it dying on my way down. I have heard a lot of Nissans will go on forever as long as you maintain them.

The precats cause problems at high milage, but if you haven't noticed a problem you should be fine.
Look into gutting your cats if you don't have to pass emissions.
Good thing to do to keep your car running past 200k.

As long as you maintained the car well, it should survive the trip.

Just get AAA if you are that concerned.
