Maf sensor problem

Ok so yes I'll start with I'm stupid.... I was working on my car started and forgot I loosened my intake... Went to reach and pulled it off only showing the throttle.... Car shut right off ASAP.... Started it with check engine light on... I had no codes prior to the mishap, so yeah autozone told me maf sensor was my code.... Reset my ecu went away but started blinking ASAP in 1 min.... Need help on what to do now cause the car works the same only problem is mpg in the past week dropped about 2-4 mpg

As far as I know, the only time the CEL blinks is when the engine is misfiring at that moment. I am not sure if a MAF could cause that.

Get the code (s) read again. If the codes are P03xx or P1320, you have ignition problems.

Well after a week with it on... I drove Into New Jersey and while driving it turned off and has been off for 80 miles..... Lol idk what but it fixed it self no codes
