2001 A/T Transmission Jolt
I'm getting a jolt when shifting from 1st to 2nd and vice versa. It is most noticeable when I'm in stop and go traffic, accelerate from a stop, then let up on the gas. It also happens if I push to high rpms through first gear and to some degree with normal acceleration.
I just replaced my engine mounts, and the rear one was in the worst shape. First flush was at 60k and I'm at 138k now and the fluid is still red. I don't want to have it flushed if I am going to need a rebuild.
I don't have any other shifting problems. Any advice?

Possibly the valve body in your transmission is faulty. I have an 05 Quest with same issue. If it is indeed the valve body buy OEM and not aftermarket. Estimate parts and labor $2500-$4500. The valve body cost just under $2k. Most transmission shops will rebuild your transmission to ensure the repair doesn't fail. That's where the added cost comes from.
