transmission leaking

So im driving home and I notice my transmission slipping the further I went the worse it got. It felt like I was ridding the clutch taking off and was over revving before it would shift. I get home, put it in park, then back to reverse then drive without acceleration and it would take a while to go into gear. I get out and its steadily dripping atf from the small hole at the bottom of the tranny. I thinking possibly torque converter seal? It is automatic

Did you check the ATF fluid dipstick to see what it said?
Hose clamps on there real tight? (on gen 5.5 there is a hose underneath the radiator <-- check it!!)

Obviously I checked the dipstick. It was going empty. Due to it dripping out of the small hole in the bottom of the trans. Like I said in op.

Wouldnt it be leaking out of a hose some where instead of the trans if it was a hose or clamp? Ive checked and whiped everything underneath and I see where its dripping from

not necessarily, it can leak where the cooler line meets the trans.

check the cooler lines to and from the radiator, the trans pan seal, where the dipstick tube goes into the trans, etc. its probably leaking from one of those places unless you ran over a solid object and punched a hole in the trans pan which to me is unlikely

This is the hole im talking about. To the right of the drip. The drips from where it was leaking and running that far before it dripped.

no idea off the top of my head if that hole is even supposed to be there and if so why. what side of the trans is that hole on? bellhousing or tail?
