3.5 v6 trouble and lost my keys :(

ok, so lets start by saying i have a 2002 maxima with the 3.5 v6 and a auto trans. i love the car because its all leather and its got the nice rims also its pearl white. but, my issue is about 5 months ago i was driving it and it stalled and wouldn't re start. i took it to the place i got it from and they replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, coils(i guess, they said plug wires), and the fuel filter. it ran and drove fine for about 2 weeks and it stalled again, but it would restart but it had no power after i believe 3K rpms. it would only bog and not rev past that in any gear. now, it wont start at all. keep in mind it cranks over nice and fast. its only got 110K on the car so its still in great shape.

i recently moved and i lost the key's. i looked everywhere and i can not find them. is there anyway to get around the security system until i can get the money for the new key?? im in high school and have NO extra money to spend on repairs at the moment... so really all i need to do it get it running to drive it to the Nissan dealership and get a new key cut for it. is there anyway i can just temporary disable it? or can i find a key that has the same code and use that for the code? my grandpa has a crap ton of gm keys.. so would one of them work for the code? please keep in mind this is only temporary till i can get the money for a new key!!!! also, i owe almost $3,000 on it so scraping it or selling it is not a option...

Sounds like MAF problems and no way to hot wire your car.

You will need to take your title and vin to a dealership or call a locksmith.

Good luck.

is it possible to buy a key off of amazon and program it my self? i'm asking because i need the car running as cheaply as possible because i am 17 and have a very limited amount of money.

i'm gonna be moving 750 miles away and need to drive this car (i only have 200$ to get me to there and this car will make it there on it) i really really need to find out how to program and get a key for really cheap. i can spend about 100$ for the key and programming...

The dealer is probably the most expensive way to go. And probably well over $100. But ask them anyway.

If you can get the key number from the dealer for free, get it. A locksmith can make a key for the car without having the key number, but it will cost more.

Then call a local locksmith and see if they will do it for $100. Get quotes from several locksmiths as they do not all charge the same price.

While you are at it, get 2 keys made so you have a spare at home.

Shop around before you tow the car to the stdealer.

so, i talked to the dealership near me and they said they will do it for 120$ that's buying the key and programming it to the car, i got it done. and now it runs. but it had a really hard start and it stalls, but will always start right back up and runs fine. its just really low on power. the people at the Nissan dealership said it could be the cam or the crank sensor messing up on it. wouldn't that throw a check engine light?? i looked for codes and it doesn't have any(active or pending)... its got a new fuel pump, coils, MAF, plugs on it. what else would do this.

I had a hard start and stalling condition with mine with no codes. OEM crank sensor worked like a charm.

OP, stop using big sized font like this. There is no need for that crap; I've edited your posts. Use the standard default size from now on...
