I have a Prestige aftermarket alarm and remote start installed on my car. The battery was removed and replaced. Alarm goes off continually. Vehicle will not start. I do not have the remote (lost it years ago) and valet switch is not working. Checked it with a meter. I had not been using the alarm at all. The blue "armed" LED is now on and wont shut off. If battery disconnected it shuts off but comes right back on when reconnected.

I removed cover under the steering wheel but cannot clearly identify what wires I need to disconnect/ reconnect using the wiring diagram. I want to return vehicle to stock alarm so that other alarm is no longer part of the system.

Any suggestions? Can I simply disconnect the Prestige Alarm and reconnect stock ? Or does this require a lot of rewiring? Is there a manual reset for the aftermarket alarm that can be done without the valet switch?

I tried closing and door and hood, etc. Disconnected , reconnecting battery.
