tcs off light

tcs off light

Ok so my gas hand wasn't working right so someone said replace the cluster, so i did and now the tcs off light is on, how do i get this light off?? The light wasn't on my other cluster that we took out?? Help I have a 2002 nissan maxima

Does the 2002 maxima even offer TCS? Neither of mine have it. If that is true then your problem is obvious I guess.

Mine has a TCS switch

If your car did not come equipped with TCS then the cluster is looking for a signal that is not being sent to it. If your car doesn't have TCS then the easy fix is to pull the cluster and remove the bulb for the TCS OFF light. If it does have TCS then it's time to break out the trusty FSM and start the diagnostic procedure.

So the next question is does OP have a GLE. SE and GXE won't have the option.
