Nissan maxima 2002 se incorrect gear ratio

My check engine light went on so when i went to have the codes scanned it said incorrect gear ratio, so what does this mean and how is it fixed, and is it something that needs to be addresed immediately

Incorrect gear ratio

Possibly P0733 Gear 3 Incorrect ratio
Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Shift solenoids
- Transmission mechanical problems
- Transmission hydraulic control circuit

Any issues with the transmission before the CEL? Like slipping, etc? It could be simple, but depending on any symptoms might shed light on how serious the issue is.
