Possible sticky e-brake

So I have an 02 SE manual trany with 184,1xx miles on it, I have never replaced the brake calipers but changed my brake pads more than I should, I use my ebrake wherever I park, and before I changed my brake pads, I have the autozone duralast crap on and it was making a grinding sound on the back right wheel, it was a pulsing sound, however I have taken it to my mechanic and they said to change the brake pads, that did not entirely solve the problem, the grind is still there, it's just not as prominent, I only know it's there because I heard it before I changed the brake pads, I notice more brake dust on the rear wheels than the front and that leads me to believe it is the ebrake rather than the caliper, and I am wondering what the fix is for this, FYI I tried the search function to no avail

Raise the passenger rear side, try to move the wheels, if you need two hands to move it , you have a stuck caliper, if freely moving but sudden restriction of rotation, imply a warp rotor. My personal view replace both rotor and pasenger side caliper.

also the ebrake lines can get water and debri in there and freeze and cause symptoms of a frozen caliper. our rear calipers are designed this way by fault.

check your ebrake lines also , i would say just as much of a chance that is bad too instead of a more typical frozen caliper.

I am in the same boat, replaced caliper 2 times with in 2 years and never got 100% free play in it, and learned about the ebrake lines.

I live in Arizona, water doesn't freeze down here, I did get a little resistance from the passenger side, but forgot to check the driver side, the passenger side was the side I would have issues with, so other than freezing, what else could cause the ebrake cable to become the fault

The rear caliper of maxima have a threaded piston compare to front caliper piston. This threaded piston mostly got stuck due to corrosion or aging piston. To test this raise the rear of your vehicle, check both passenger and driver wheel for restriction of movement. Let someone to press the brake, check both side , no movement since the brake is applied. The side that move implies air in the brake line, block in the brakeline or totaly stuck caliper Release the brake, check both side for restriction, initially both side have restriction as you rotate the wheel, the threaded piston that is functioning must push back and the wheel will rotate without restriction. Then check the ebrake, apply the ebrake and do the same procedure as above.
