Engine Light On (High Voltage)

I went to the Autozone like good half an hour ago to get it check out, the lady said it was reading high voltage.

I told her I just recently got a alternator replacement, and battery 2 weeks ago. It been fine no problems for 2 weeks until on my way back home from work on the highway Engine light came on.

I don't understand what made it came on now, not 2 weeks ago if voltage was reading high?

She told me drive for 100 miles it should go off but if doesn't then what should I do? Should I be concern or what?

P0132 is a O2 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank1, Sensor1). I think you're misconstruing it as a alternator issue. It could mean the sensor is shorted, or potential frayed wires for the sensor. You should clear the code first and see if it returns. If it does, check the wires for the sensor. If they are good, replace the sensor.

P0132

It refers to Primary Oxygen Sensor, needs to be replaced.

OBD code tells you. Possible cause you bought an aftermarket parts or the precat is clogged. You need to gut the two precat then use a nonfouler to the two secondary O2 sensor. OEM Genuine Nissan parts for 02 sensor is $150.00 at courtesyparts

Depends on the O2, did you get a direct fit one that included the full pigtail that plugs into the factory harness, or did you get the O2 sensor that you have to splice into the pigtail of the previous O2 sensor? If it's the latter, it could be the splices. At the end of the day, the sensor do break and can do so at anytime. If you suspect the O2 sensor is good, you could swap it with one of the other O2 sensors and see if the issue follows.

Either way the first step is clear the code and see if it returns first. If it does, swap that O2 sensor with the one from the other bank. Clear codes and see if what comes up follows the sensor, or stays in the same place. If it follows, pretty sure it's the O2 sensor. If it stays, there is a wiring problem.

As for warranty on the o2 sensor, potentially, not sure what brand you ended up with, but you could always check with the place you bought it from.

Okay I managed it to fixed it there was just a loose wiring connections to the o2 sensor on (bank 1) and now the engine light on the dash is off.

Thanks god!!

I think it was because from the music I was playing very loud cause vibrations make it loose? I mean I don't know what exactly can cause that.

I don't think that playing your music loud caused the wires to come loose.

The engine shakes and vibrates and this is probably what caused it.
