Can't pass emissions on a 2002 trouble codes need help!!

Hey guys I'm a 4thgen owner but my daughters mother has a 2002 se and she needs to pass emissions for the state of connecticut... She is throwing the codes p0420 p0430 and p0455.... I've tried google and also search on maxima.org maybe I'm typing the wrong keywords but all I keep getting is the obd code list ... I'm looking to fix this but I have no idea where to start ... And also if I bring it to a shop I don't want her to be taken advantage of.. Has anyone else had the same problems or know how to fix? Any help would be appreciated...

P0420

P0420 (Bank 1)
P0430 (Bank 2)

DTC P0455 EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM (GROSS LEAK)

Read this:http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Maxima/2002/EC.pdf

VQ35DE for California spec ( two primary 02 Sensor, two secondary 02 sensor and one rear catalytic converter, two precat (one near the radiator on near the firewall: The problem you might have a clogged pre cat, the best way just to pass emission is to install 02 nonfouler to the two secondary 02 sensory
Read this ;http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...n-foulers.html
Then gut the precat meaning remove the mesh inside the precat and install it back , just retain the rear main catalytic converter. If you are planning to replace the precat , its too expensive around $567.00 each. http://www.courtesyparts.com/20802a-...957_1981_1983&

For the code: P0455 , might need a replacement, or check the connection or tubing of the evaporative canister

I just had an emissions nightmare I had to replace 2 o2 sensors and then caught the P0430 code. I ran a can of seafome through the tank after clearing the codes and it passed through the run cycle clean I registered it today in fact. For $10 and a tank of premium it's worth a try before you start chasing an endless supply of code after code. Trust me.

Trust me the error code will come back. Seafoam is not a good idea for VQ35DE engine , it will ruin the the injector o ring, throttle assembly (electronic not mechanical). Better off to have a change oil after emptying the gas tank mix with seafoam. Fuel injector cleaner that can be used for this engine is techron and BG 44K

I just finished dealing with these same codes you have,There are 2 ways to go about this, spend a lot of money replacing 2 pre cats or installing 2 anti fouler's on the secondary O2 sensors, yes i can confirm that anti foulers do work,(i have y-pipe with no pre cats) just finished passing my e-test by doing this, these are the non fouler's i used, and for the P0455 i got a used charcoal cannister and vent valve from the junk yard (do not try to remove the vent valve from the canister, you will 100% snap the studs holding it to the canister) spray some compressed air in to the vent valve instead to loosen up the plunger, only spray WD40 in the vent valve if you can safely get it off,so you don't get a P1440 code, but check all your hoses from the gas tank and canister before you replace the canister.P0455 means you have quite a big leak so check hoses and filler neck 1st.Oh and mines is California spec also 4 O2 sensors
