what the hell is the difference between these two? Also i have never seen my TCS light blink or go into effect when my tires are spinnig in snow or such. Its always the SLIP light that starts blinking. Is there something werong with my TCS?

The traction control system robs power. I forget what it actually reduces, but it slows down the engine from making power, somehting like that. With the LSD, you aren't losing any power. It transfers power form the wheel that is slipping to the wheel that grips. Basically it gets the power down better. But the TCS doesn't do a good job, it actually reduces power so the wheels can grip. When your tires are slipping, only the SLIP light will blink. The TCS lights comes on only when you turn it off. Hope that helps.

When your tires aren't gripping, you'll see the slip light come on and blink until it regains the grip.. I drove around in the snow this weekend and that's what I kept getting.. the TCS light shows TCS OFF when you turn it off.. I don't think anything's wrong with your TCS.. that's just the normal op...

When the SLIP light comes on, your tires are losing grip which also means the the traction control system is going to go to work to correct the slippage. Does that make sense?
