Hi,

I am hoping someone can help. My AC is not working in the car. On certain occasions it will blow cold air for a little but then switch to hot air. The A/C is charged and the compressor turns on and air blows but it will blow hot air. I took it to a mechanic who thought it might be the control panel since the a/c was charged, compressor was working. Any thoughts on anything else to try?

If the compressor is running when the air is coming out warm/hot, you may have a problem with the AIR MIX DOOR or the AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR or the control panel.

If you have the auto climate controls where you have a digital display and set the temperature by turning a ****, then you can run a built-in self diagnostic test. It is in the service manual.
