My new Volk's GTV

I always wanted a set of volk Gtv's and now I am a happy owner. The volk's are 19x8 wrapped in 225/40/19. I just got the wheels installed today so they look a little dirty. The wheels are black but in the future I might get them powercoated in gold.

LOL at only 1 question pertaining to the wheels and 3 totally other random questions....George, you gonna ask him if he works at the Carl's Jr. too?

Wheels look good. Nice choice. May want to consider some spacers in the rear.

Yes, that is an apexi ws2 and I want to put some coilovers for my car. No, my air bag is not sticking out. I literally just got the wheels installed and the bags are my old rims.

With coilovers it will look even better being a tad lower and an even drop front and back.

That muffler needs to be raised or something, looks a bit strange that way IMO.

How much do those wheels weigh? And why did you go with such a skinny tire at 225?

Do you work at Carls Jr??

Looks great. Would be interested to see them in gold. Good choice on the WS2. That was my first muffler before the Cattman, and I loved the tone.

No, I do not work at Carl's Jr. I actually work at an oil company as an accountant. I wanted to put 245/35/19 on the rims but i was worried of the height. I chose the 40 to protect the rims from the potholes in Houston.

Nice rims! You need to fix the fit on the muffler. It's making the car look like crap. I know you have it like that because it looks like it'll need bumper modification to make it proper. Fix that and it's gorgeous sexy. BTW I love the tone my apexi world speed 1 has. VQ heaven...

Quick pic of the wheel again. I really need to drop the car and tint the windows. For some reason i cant put the wheel cap on the back wheels cause of the hub is sticking out. Anyone have an issue with this.

This is common. If it's close to fitting you can take the wheel off and gently take a hammer and beat the edges and center of the grease cap in a little.

You NEED coilovers asap! Looks like a donk or monster truck. LOL I love the car, the wheels, the look you're going after but it's like seeing a bodykit on a car with no paint. It just doesn't look right. It's all about the details. Once you address the drop issue you will have one badass ride.

Will look great with more aggressive drop!

Could you happen to take a picture from the back?

Just a word on gold wheels. We've been trying to sell a 2010 G37 coupe, only 40k miles in good shape and great deal, it has plasti-dipped all chrome and badges (and it's peeling slightly) and gold spray painted OEM 18"s. Every person that looks at the car and test drives it loves the performance but terrified by the GOLD WHEELS

Anything you do, don't let GOLD WHEELS be one of them.

Here is an idea of what you are looking at once you have a mild drop and tint. I realize it's blue but those are 19's and you get the idea.
