NEW Line of 3" Cat-back Exhausts for 00-03 Maxima & 00-04 i30/35!

Attention 5th gen owners.

My company, Administration Tuning is expanding. We are currently forming a partnership with a supplier that used to work with Cattman Performance (RIP).

This means that we will be now gauging interest in an exclusive, high end 3" cat-back exhaust for 00-03 Maximas and 00-04 i30/35s.

I'm posting this to gather information regarding the interest in a 3" cat-back featuring quality stainless steel and high quality resonators and mufflers that will make your car sound godly.

The price point for a NEW 3" cat-back exhaust is currently set at $880.00/each with SHIPPING included.

Please comment with answers to the following questions:

1. Are you willing to purchase a 3" exhaust?
2. When are you looking to make the purchase?
3. Are you willing to put a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot in line for a 3" exhaust?

We are looking to add this to our existing portfolio of tuning parts and will be intending on expanding further with other parts and services for this platform, with the support of the community.

Thanks guys.

If you have any questions please PM me. My contact information is also below.

Can you match these prices: http://www.brmexhaust.com/ProductDet...ode=A33-MAXIMA
http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...EXHAUST/Detail
Step up to v-band clamps and look at the wizards 4" titanium cat-back. Cattman's crap needs to be redesigned, it's too old. And I own cattman products so...

I think he's going to use mandrel bends high end mufflers and stainless steel though.

Alittle too high end for me on an old maxima. There at the age where everything needs to be replaced and almost 1k for a catback, idk.

My cats are completly worn out so let me buy those first

That brm link has a great price.

The value of these quality systems means they will depreciate less and at a slower rate than the car itself = great investment and $$ return when sale or junk the car.

No intentions on matching the pricing of BRM's exhaust, since they do not use the same resonator or muffler as the exhaust we are selling. If you saw how the BRM fit on certain 5th gen Maximas you would understand why the pricing is different.

$880.00/ea is the price including shipping which is actually slightly cheaper than Cattman's 3" model when it was available.

I believe you that they'll be nice but I think you can do better. Make them in house instead of going through someone else to manufacture them. Make a prototype so we can see the quality. CMax03 makes them for people ("maxima.org members") in his driveway and the quality is better than cattman's.

My quality is no where's even on the same page as Cattman....Those 3rd and 4th Cattman catbacks were aluminized steel, even though you can opt for SS, my Hybrid Resonator is high quality but that's just a section! Cattman's quality was up there with Borla, Gibson, etc....definitely better than anything custom out of a local muffler shop....and I believe his Catbacks were/are worth more than $1300 with the material and quaility of fit he was able to offer us!

Go moncef, this is what i like to see. if the stainless steel is of high quality as well as it being mandrel bent then the price is more than fair. will gaskets be included too? OR NAW

Nice job Ceffy.

another thing to look at will be making headers with 3" collectors to match the 3" catback.

I hope A.T. redesigns the rear muffler and goes to a design more like Magnaflow's which enters the muffler splits immediately into two perforated tubes and exits the body as twin tips which IMO is quieter than Cattman's rear muffler design!!!! The Cattman size of the rear Muffler was a benefit but the way it split @ the rear muffler bulkhead wasn't that efficient! I look forward to seeing A.T.'s product....thx!

Didn't sparks do this with nothing proven, good or bad? Aside from creepy sound?

Yes utilizing a flowmaster 3" collector ypipe....the results not sure! IIRC there wasn't anygain....I'll search for it! Cattman spoke too me a several occasions and stressed how important it was to maintain the exhaust velocity and that the 2.25" header collectors paired into the 2.5" collector offered the best scavenging to maintain a broad, wide, torque curve and starting at a very useable rpm!!! Going to a larger secondaries and collector just increased the rpm for that same exhaust gas velocity....so you may make more power at a higher rpm but you just lost all your bottomend torque as it move higher up the rpm band as well! If you're really interested in larger primaries, larger secondaries and collector build a one-off prototype with the help of a custom exhaust shop...

Because MES is cheaper along with an apexi "noir" aka ws1 muffler. I think the OP offer is great for most folks though. I just need something a little more suited to my needs. This way I can pick my own resonator too. I think people should be all over the OP offer since nobody else has anything like that on the market. And you heard it yourself, BRM is crappy.

I would be interested if I didn't already have a cattman 3". Are you planning to venture into parts for 4th, 6th, and 7th gens? Also I'm assuming expansion to other parts will happen based on demand, but are you guys contemplating headers at all?

Good afternoon everyone,

Right now we have 3/6 signups, so we will need 3 more to begin production.

The price is $880.00/ea. That is the price including shipping.

Only the 3" exhaust for 00-03 Maxima and 00-04 I30/I35 is available. No headers are available yet.

This is the 3" Cattman exhaust exactly as you remember it. Stainless, mandrel bent, no BS just beautiful noises and power gains.

I've gotten compliments on Cattman headers/catback when getting an inspection. They're impressed with the quality.

Most people don't know me on the ORG, but I'm Chris w/ the 02 Turbo Maxima. I'm running this same cat-back on my car now for 2.5yrs with no complaints. It's seen salty winters, 7k+ rpm, backfires, and more and still looks just as good as new. All the muffler packing is still intact even after thousands of miles. This exhaust is what was bolted onto my car and helped it run a 12.4 at 119mph!

The Administration is making great efforts to try and bring back some aftermarket support for our cars and they won't settle for sub-par mass produced parts! Anything you get WILL be top of the line from the product to customer service. If you guys have any questions please let me or Moncef know.

Thanks guys!

(and for the record, I'm not one to commonly wash/polish the car.)

If you do end up selling / producing Headers ,do you mean (headers and y pipe come together ,one set) or headers and y pipe separate ? and just like AznRyan .I'm interested, but won't be able to buy one right off. I am able to do a deposit and save up during that time for the cat back.
