What size is the Stock exhaust on an AE

Hey guys, I know lots of you guys have lots of knowledge on this subject so help a brother out. I am wanting to get a flowmaster 40 series (seems to be the coolest sounding one I've come across) I am wanting just to do the muffler, no pipes or anything, just the muffler. So question is, what size are the stock pipes so I buy the correct inlet. Thanks guys

2.125" IIRC. Smaller than the A32 from what I remember Kevlo saying.

2.5" is a good bet for any stockers though.

Thanks man, if I buy the 2.5 and it doesn't fit there are adapters I assume right?

Yeah, My headers are 2.5", that go into a 3" cat, and then to a 3" cat-back. Before that I had a 2.5" cat that went into a 3" catback. Before that I had a 2.5"Cattman B-pipe that went into the stock muffler.

These are all bolt on applications. In your case, a sleeve and a welder or a muffler shop could do it.
