2000 Maxima Headlight bulb cover

I just did a full HID conversion on my Maxima. However the bulb "covers" inside of the headlight lens came off and is stuck inside of the actual headlight enclosure. There is no way to remove it because the cover is bigger than the hole in which the bulb fits into. Can anyone help me with this

You're going to have to bake the headlight(s) apart.

I don't even want to imagine how much glare there will be without the OEM glare shields.

Wow that seems like a lot of work. Do you think it would be better to replace the headlights with ones that can accommodate the HID bulb? I have seen some maximas with projector headlights that looks like it will fit mines.

Yes, best is to get different housing. Doing it in the stock housing will produce horrible light output and tons of glare, as it's the wrong housing for HID's.

Any of the ftermarket projector lights out there should work but they have some fitment issues. Best thing to do is get a set of used OEM 5.5gen headlights.

You can do that but aftermarket projector headlights do not use stock bulbs so you will need new ones (again). They're also not that great in terms of performance.

If you want custom projector headlights that will actually perform well, LMK. I can build you some (see sig for reference).
