Got an 01 i30, driver seat doesn't move forward or back but declines/inclines and the seatback moves forward and back. What part do I need?

Or do I need like a rail regulator or motor?

Tosheto's guess is correct. Your slide motor is dying. That is the one on the front left side of the seat when looking under it from the footwell. You'll want to tap the motor with a hammer to see if it starts working again. However, that may be a temporary fix. It may stop working again. Eventually, you'll have to replace the slide motor. You can search eBay for the slide motor kit. The Nissan part number for cars with memory seat is 87562-C9926. If your car has no memory seat, the part number is 87562-C9927. These are the part numbers for the 5th generation 2000-2003 Maximas. I believe the Infiniti I30-I35 between those years use the same. It costs around $295. I replaced the one on my 03 myself, and it took me around 2 hours. It's not as difficult as I thought it would be though.
