So what VQ other then the 3.0 is the one to get?
Is it just the 5 and 6 gen VQs that are crappy?

There's nothing wrong with the 5.5 as long as it doesn't have cats. 6th gen needs chain guides replaced, so they are worthless. 07+ altima, etc, and 7th gen max is where it's at.

Do I have to come over to your houses and force you guys to do a 5.7 swap

Oh yes that took out my 2nd motor.

First the 3 cylinder got messed up from it. Nissan replaced the intake and precat. Oh and the sparkplug that was trashed from it. It happened again and messed up the 4th cylinder. This time nissan replaced the motor "again"

I think the op should try a heavier weight oil, what weight are u currenty using? Do you have any leaks ect? I know ive had the number 5 plug seal on my car go bad, recently replaced it with 04 valve cover.
