Where can I relocate my battery negative cable ground?
Okay, so about half a year ago I replaced my negative battery cable with an OEM cable from Nissan. Reason for changing the cable is that the old ones were completely broken at the battery posts. When I was tightening the bolt that connects to the pipe on the side of the transmission which is the stock ground for the cable. The bolt snapped. I was too lazy to get the part that is stuck out so I moved the ground location down the pipe. Same pipe as stock just in another bolt. I'm just wondering whats the BEST place to relocated my battery ground to?
I'm not completely satisfied with where I put it. Plus my car recently has been having hard start and long cranking starts.
I also bought a grounding kit which will be arriving tomorrow and hopefully fix the hard starting.

Pipe?
I replaced mine too using an AutoZone unit for like 8$. There's a gnd, if I remember correctly on the body, and on the engine block.
In any case, wherever you do put it, make sure the mating surface is cleaned and bare metal.
