Negative Battery Terminal Help

Negative Battery Terminal Help
Hi, I've got a 2001 I30 and the negative terminal has gotten loose and doesn't have a tight connection (tight enough to work, but not enough for me not to be concerned about it).
My fault, but basically the screw that tightens the terminal had gotten stuck and I couldn't remove it by any means: I tried PB and others and it wouldn't budge when I was trying to remove the battery. So... for better or worse, I forceably removed the terminal by twisting it.
So, I want to fix it permanently the easiest way. Is it pretty easy to replace the entire negative cable itself? Does anyone have pictures of where it is bolted in and/or any instructions? Is there a better way?
I went ahead and bought the longest cable they had at Autozone last time I was there. Will that work or do I need to buy an i30 specific cable?
Any recommendations? Thanks!

Just remove your battery , air inlet ,and battery tray, you'll see the ground cable bolted down on the tranny. You could give some slack and put another terminal clamp...and reassemble.
Or you can relocate your battery and cut a hole in your fender to do the tru cai mod ,just sayn

If you can't turn the nut to loosen or tighten the battery cable, you need to deal with that.
You don't have to buy a new cable, just replace the nut and bolt. You may still need the terminal shims that 00Lightsout mentioned. You can buy those at your local auto parts store.
