Rear Spoiler Removal

I was trying to remove my rear spoiler to get it repainted instead of the shop doing it to save on labor cost. Has anyone successfully taken off their spoiler, since I was having trouble getting off since there's a lot of adhesive on it, and I noticed I might have broken a grommet or some plastic thingy on one end, but haven't pulled off the spoiler entirely. Has anyone run into that situation, and is that plastic grommet can replaced or am I screwed?

A trip to your local junkyard will solve that problem. Just try not to break the new ones from the donor car. I found for those plastic pin things it's easier to use a screwdriver or something to pry them out. As for the adhesive, you could probably use some 3M double sided tape to replace it.

there's only 3 screws. left middle and right. unscrew them carefully. use that pb blaster or chances are it might break as you're untightening. then pry it and it's easy as it sounds.
