Need Help ASAP

Alright Ive searched the site up and down and can't get a definitive answer. So yesterday I'm headed to work, I go to pass another car in traffic so i press on the gas and after a second or two the car bogs. No more problems after that I got to work fine with no more issues. Last night heading back home from work on the highway my car starts to bog a bit more, Im doing about 60 the car slowly loses speed I bog down to about 40 then 20 next thing i know i cant go faster than about 5 mph. I rode the shoulder until I could get off the highway and the car would gain power and accelerate and spontaneous moments. The battery light and brake light on the dash were flashing as the car bogged to, its a 03 Maxima 6mt.

Wow that's weird. Only thing I can think of is your MAF. I could be wrong but I'm sure there is someone here on the org that can help.

Check your Altenator voltage output after you check for tightness of battery cables and belts, or any loose connection on the TPS, O2 conectors, MAF, Grounds, Etc

sounds like a MAF, but like CMax03 says, check your wiring also.

i swapped out the MAF with one from the junkyard it was the quickest way i could get one, but i still have the same issues....after letting the car sit overnight I was able to drive it a few feet then the bogging started again and the it was back downhill with all these issues, i guess when i can get back to the car ill check the wiring...how do i check the tps and all the other sensors???

Is your brake and battery light on at all? If you have a voltmeter I would check the battery voltage while of and on, any check engine light present?

totally! voltage test the alt & check your battery connections. May need to ziptie your MAF connector on tighter too

If possible, go to an big autopart store and have them do voltage tests, but I'm very sure It's the alternator.

Did you guys bother to read the post above yours? He already replaced his alternator and battery. He's back on the road.
