Paint Discolouration

Hi guys, the paint on the back of my 01 has gone weird looking shade, what would be recommended for something like this? I have a can of the factory matched stuff. Should I use it for this or would that just make things worse?

With a size that big you probably need to repaint the car bumper. Looks like the clear coat peeled and maybe even some of the paint has been damaged too.
Best bet, if you want to fix it, would be to take it a body shop so they can measure the paint thickness, inspect the area etc to determine the extent of the damage.
