Searching for CV axles and Lower control arms
Since Raxle is stop making for 5th Gen. I'm wondering where most member shops for their CV axles and lower control arm.
Quote from Tri-cities Nissan / Coutesy Nissan
$490.00 RH axle and $457.00 LH axle
$137 for each control arm
I wonder if anybody have better recommendations

^GREAT point!! I don't know if they can be purchased separate from the axle, but the remanufactured axles almost always come with vibration dampers... the New Axles do not. Dampers are a muuuust!! Nevermind that the axle on the right is non-abs, because the maxima axles need dampers to last longer no matter what.
anyone know if they can be purchased separate?

Cant help with the axles, but I just installed LCA's last weekend made by MOOG. They were the complete system, new LCA, both sets of bushings, and the BJ. They were $205 shipped from Rockauto. Very easy to install, right about an hour and a half start to finish.

Is it a auto or manual? Maybe manual aren't as picky but there must be aftermarket models with dampeners.

Even though I'm a 4th gen I recommend either buying OEM new or junkyard used.
First time, I bought new Napa axles (best aftermarket available.) Garbage. Massive vibration. Returned and bought remanufactured WITH the damper in place this time. Less vibration but still awful. Third time went to the junkyard to buy a used passenger side and rebooted the OEM driver side. Vibration gone. Honestly unless you want to chance doing a 2nd install do it right and go OEM.

In the same boat now. The remanufactured Cardone is the way to go now I think. I think they are rebuilt oem.
Raxles are imported Japan parts. Everything else other than oem is Chinese. This is what the guy from Raxle just told me.
