Remote Starter Bypass Module

Hey guys, I've already tried posting this in the electronics section, but I haven't been getting any responses, so I was hoping you could help me since this forum is much more popular than the electronics. Thanks.

So, I just order a Viper 4806V 2-way remote starter for my 2002 6MT and I'm now looking for which bypass I need to buy for it. I looked at some Viper install instructions and it looks I need an XpressKit bypass. So I went to the XpressKit site and put my car into the compatibility checker and it came up with 6 results. They are:

DBALL2- 402.PKN2 v1.05
DB-ALL- 401.PKN2 v1.05
556UW
PKALL
RFLUB
XK05- PKN2 v3.00
(XpressKit site)

Now, at first I thought the XK05 was what I needed cause I read on some forums about it, but the site says the firmware hasn't been updated since 2006, while both of the DBALL models have 2013 firmware. The site also says that both DBALLs and the XK05 require an "XKLoader2" and a PC to flash the firmware to them, while the other 3 don't. Help me out here guys, thanks!

Your car is an 02. Why does it matter when the firmware was last updated?

True enough, but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing out on any features that could have been introduced in those years through firmware updates.

Hope you realize with this Viper system you have no warranty unless it's professionally installed. The installer should recommend and supply the right immobilizer bypass.

Yeah, I was aware of the warranty, but I got it on a really good sale and I think I'm good enough with wires to figure it out myself. Thanks for your advice, though!
