Picture fail

I was trying to take a low shutter speed photo while driving in my car, so that the outside would show motion (that 'warp speed' effect), while the inside would be sharp (due to being still).

Long story short, I did not succeed. Trying a lot of shutter speeds (and driving speeds) I concluded that my tripod was not secured well enough to my car.

My camera was set up to take a picture ever 1 second, so it took a ton of photos, but sadly only one turned out half decent. Although it was not the desired effect (as I was making a turn here), I now show this to people and tell them I took the old girl out for some drifting.

I like that rear-view mirror! My 5th gen is so basic compared to the 5.5's

put a sample pic of what you are trying to acheive...
altho the picture you posted may not be what you wanted (seems to be to me) focused on the inside and "Warp speed" on the outside.

Something like this is what I was trying to achieve:

I may try it again some time if I figure out a way to mount my camera more securely.

Yeah, slow shutter speed photos including people are very tricky because any movement from the person will result in blur.
