New wipers - Recommendations?

It's time to get new wipers for the Max, I don't know if they've ever been changed. I did a quick search and came up with two popular ones...

Bosch Icon's & Rain-X Latitude's

Just wondering which wipers you guys have on your Maxima's and if you could recommend good ones. Vouching the the above two is great as-well

I recently put on Bosch Evolution blades which were pretty sweet.
They're about $5 cheaper than Icon's but I'd say go for it.

I used the Icon on this maxima and previous Altima with great results... The Icons are like a huge squeegee and do a awesome job of cleaning the window but $$$$

Get Bosch Icons. They are the best. No streaks at all! Your eyes will thank you!

Get Anco Contours from Rockauto. They are a great winter and summer blade and with Anco's current rebate they are practically free.

I've been using Bosch Evolutions for a while. They have been working nicely on several cars. I don't know what the difference is from the Icons, but they are a bit less expensive.

I tried the Goodyear blades from Costco on two occasions. They price was nice, but were complete crap both times.

It rains the majority of the time here, I figure I'll spend the extra cash and get the best! Looking into Bosch Icons (I like the look..)

Got a price check and it's going to cost $51.52 after tax, Lorcdo was $75.04. Back to square one, confusion.

Which PIAA's do you have?

Basically, PIAA vs Bosch vs OEM is where I'm at right now. I always over-think the smallest things.

Perfect! Those are the ones I thought you had, I like the fact that you can buy refills instead of a whole new arm. I will probably pick up a set of these, they don't have that "look" but they're practical.

Decided to go for the PIAA Aero Vogue, they look a bit better than the Super Silicone one's and are still refillable.

Same price as Bosch. The PIAA is $41 for regular ones or $51 for the aero. I'll check around and see if I can find them cheaper though.

Everyone has their own preference so maybe pick a recommended blade and see what your own opinion is. Personally I found Bosch to be good or for the price the Michelins at Costco weren't bad either.

Bosch and Rain-X are the top brands for wipers. Rain-X Latitude is a great option. They are conventional wiper blades, available in different sizes. The contoured beam ensures that the blade hugs the windshield for streak-free visibility, and the graphite blade delivers a smooth, chatter-free wipe.

Alright the verdict is in and it looks like I'm not getting the PIAA Aero's (4-6 week wait) and I'll just get the regular ones for $45 (tax in). I might throw a picture up later for sh*ts and giggles. I like how PIAA's are refillable.

It's awesome looking!! But the fact it has PIAA on the wipers is a real turn off for me... Reminds me too much of PIA (pain in the ***), PETA etc.

In don't mind the look actually! If I ever get tired of it I'll just blackout the PIAA.

The piaa's don't appear to be anything special looks like since they put their logo on some metal back wipers the price goes up. Do they add 10 hp too lol. The flexible wipers are good in the fact they don't get as much ice build up and easier to clean making them better in the winter aswell but hey each to their own. +1 on the org wiper logos lol

I'd do .org stickers! They're nothing special in terms of looks, but they should be pretty damn amazing when I get out in the rain! I just like the fact they're refillable.

Side note, where can I get .org stickers?! I need stickers for my Max, it has none!

My Maxima basically just sits in the garage, I drive it maybe one or twice a week I do like the look of the Bosch Icons, but ice build up isn't really a concern where I am. Happy with the purchase and might get Icons in the future, who knows To put the driving in perspective I fill up the car every 1-2 months (full tank)

So why you wasting all this money on a car you rarely use?

Might not use it all the time, but so far the only thing I've done is maintenance, the new rims, and these wipers. So nothing too expensive... yet. I'll use it more when I have more things to do in a day haha.

I spend my days on the forum and training for the Forces.
